Gabby of the Week - Sharon
Sharon's nickname needs to be Mrs. Creative. She is a Stampin Up distributor and always has great classes and ideas. We also need to get her to attend more crops so we have more pictures. This is the one and only one we could find, but it sure is a good one!

Gabby of the Week - Julie B
Chips, yum, chips, yum, yum, yum. Julie brought the first bag of Julio's chips. They are made in Del Rio where Shannon and Julie's husbands were stationed in the Air Force. What can we say? Our hips are forever sad, but our taste buds are forever grateful. Julie has four young children {2 are twins} and has their scrapbooks caught up. How amazing is that? She used to complete 10 pages to only one of mine before I turned to the digital world. She is super speedy.

Gabby of the Week - Sue
Sue is the most well organized "collector" of our bunch. She has pulled out the perfect item to complete some of my pages on more than one occasion and completely filled my "high maintenance" need. Sue and Connie also went to high school together. Isn't it a small world? They reconnected at a crop all these years later.

Gabby of the Week - Dede & Dottie
Dede and Dottie are sister-in-laws, and I think it is just great that they get along well enough to get away and spend the weekend together.
Dottie is one of the new Mommies in the Gabby group, and she always does amazing projects. Just check out the cross below. If memory serves me right, she sold it before the weekend was over, right Susan :-)?

Dede, well she is the life of the party as you can tell. I still don't know how on earth she came up with the Bear Breasted Biker Chick costume...sooooo funny. There was one retreat I was able to make where she couldn't, and it just was not the same. I think I said more than once that it was just too quite. Dede is also one of the first ones to start blogging. I can't wait to get her started on her first blog book.

It is OPEN
Update: Both Susan and Dede were in line waiting for it to open!
Yep, Anthologies opened up in Hurst {corner of Harwood and Norwood}. Lauren and I went to check it out this evening, and these two below went yesterday. Does it really surprise you that our ringleader and shopping queen would arrive on opening day? I heard that Dede was actually in line waiting for the doors to open. You go girl!
The store was great, and it was so much fun to see so many faces that I remembered from Recollections. So many of the same great people in a new happy place is just well, GREAT!

Hmmmm. I wonder when my posting privileges will be revoked so I can't hijack Susan's blog? :-)

this makes me laugh
So I am looking through pictures working on the Gabby of the Weeks and found these. It is funny that there was not one but three pictures of Julie watching her race and that someone took the pictures in the first place. What a hoot we are. A room full of memory makers taking a picture of something that the other 19 people in the room new was definatly a memory. Love ya Julie. It is also a pretty cute prego picture.

Do you know me?
I marched in the Cotton Bowl Parade, performed in the Cotton Bowl at half time in 1971, and was on National TV. Do you know me?

Gabby of the Week - Betty & Wendy
I'm back! Thanks Autum for helping out for a couple of weeks. Our Gabbies of the Week are the dynamic twin duo Wendy and Betty. It is sad not getting to see Wendy's smiling face everyday at work, but I know I will see her in November for an entire weekend! Yeah for our retreats! Wendy is our embroidering, quilting and scrapping Gabby. Betty is one of the Super Teachers in the Gabby group, and she makes amazing cards. Love you two ladies.

Little known fact:
Anthologies is a new scrapbooking store that will be opening on October 2 in Hurst, Tx.
Gabby of the Week

Teri and I have the same taste in names. We both have a daughter named Gracie. Teri loves to stamp and work on projects. She had made several cute things on the years that stick out in my mind. Do you remember the cute Halloween paperclips or the large letter G? Teri is often found cutting up with her good friend Dede. Even though she is quiet, she is pretty funny once you get to know her. Her favorite movie is Momma Mia!

Gabby of the Week

Cari is one of the charter members of the Gabby Scrappers. She is always thinking of others and goes out of her way to help. She is quite the planner. She used to be a "slow poke" in the paper scrapbooking world. Now she is moving at lightening speed with digital scrapbooking. But as always, she wants to help others by passing along all she has learned. Cari is now hosting ditigal scrapbooking classes.

I love scrapping with all the girls. I am on the sub list and come whenever I can. I also sell a line that is very popular. Do you know me?
Gabby of the Week
Julie is known for her love of Disney, but in my opinion she is one of my favorite scrapbook artists. Her style is clean, colorful and always draws me in. She was on of the firsts in the group to by a Cricut. A pioneer I tell ya ;-)
She is often found cutting up with Susan. And even though she moved to the Midwest, she loves us so much she flies in to scrapbook with us. We miss you Julie!

Gabby of the Week - Shannon

This week's feature Gabby is Shannon. She brought Julie into the group which brought us all "the chips". Our hips and backsides are forever grateful. Shannon has a very large amount of patience, which is was required when I paper scrapbooked. I admit it to the world. I am a high maintenance scrapbook friend. Thanks to Shannon and the rest of the group.
